Since 2009 Meet Your Neighbours wants to connect people worldwide with the 'wildlife' in their neighbourhoods. An initiative from Niall Benvie and Clay Bolt that thought it was about time that we learn more about nature around us. Cause we usually don't notice what happens just in front of us...

Photographers around the globe co-operate in this collective photo project that has a clear approach. That is exactly why the results are so strong! Using a field studio, the plants and animals are photographed with a white background, hence disconnecting them from their personal environments. The idea of the initiators is that it makes you wanna search for those plants and animals in your personal environment to locate them. In this way you will reconnect to nature.

We are not sure if this goal is achieved. However, this collective project has a beautiful photo series as result. And that's exactly why we love this at EAGER, cause it inspires you to make great photo series too!
