Behind photographs is the almost epic project of the American advertising photographer Tim Mantoani. He started the briliant series in which he portraits famous potographers with their most iconic work some five years ago. He has made over 150 20x24 inch polaroid portraits since!

Awesome, these. Finally we get to see the faces of the masterminds behind the photos. Mantoani created a historical overview of both iconic photographs and their makers. Luckily the book is for sale. We cannot wait for the memory edition in which you will have to match the photo with its maker!
